Roles and Responsibilities of first crew on scene

When the first emergency crew arrives on the scene of an accident, is to provide a CHALETS report to the other emergency services. It is vital they do this because it will provide information for other emergency services
The CHALETS report :-
 C – Casualties – Have to approximate how many are injured, uninjured and the number of fatalities.
H – Hazards – Have to identify if there are any major hazards which could be very dangerous.
A – Access – Have to provide the best route for the other emergency services.
L – Location – Have to provide the location if it is not easily identifiable.
E – Emergency Services – Have to state which emergency services are their at present or which are required.
T – Type – Have to state which type of incident, and give brief details of the incident.
 
 
 
 
S – Start a log – Have to record all of the times
